Who was Mahatama Ganhdi ?


Mohandas Karamchand Ganhdi commonly known as Gandhiji, Bapu ,or Mahatama Ganhdi. He was born on 2nd Oct 1869 in Porbandar, Kathiawa,Gujarat, British India and died on 30Th January 1948 (assassination by shooting) by Hindu extremist.

He was a great leader who advoctes non-violence and simplicity throughout his life. Due to his extreme dedication and efforts the India got independence from British rule. Since then he is remembered as ‘Father of the Nation’. His admired peened books are : THE STORY OF MY EXPERIMENTS WITH TRUTH, FREEDOM’S BATTLE, and THIRD CLASS IN INDIAN RAILWAYS.
